Zebrastar called her clan. "We have three new cats joinig us! There is Darknight, a warrior, Dustkit, a kit, and Vaporpaw, an apprentice who's mentor will be me!"
"Also, Ivybloom has had her kits! They are Echokit, SNowkit, and Badgerkit!"

Leopardheart purred loudly, her brother Lionclaw padded up to her and brushed his cheek against her shoulder>" Congrats." He purred, Jaguarkit skimmering after them with unbalanced paws.Leopardheart blinked at him in sayign the same."Come, let's greet Vaporpaw and Darknight." Lionclaw mewed.Leopardheart nodded absentmindedly.
ReplyDeleteVaporpaw looked to Darknight, "Is it great to be a leader's apprentice?" Darknight nodded to her, feeling different in a clan with many pure-blooded warriors, "Yes, it is a great honor!" Vaporpaw purred and looked at tiny Dustkit, barley 4 moons puffing up his chest and greeting himself to everyone. Vaporpaw purred, "Kits."

She purred to her brother and nudghed him gently over to Dustkit.She chuckled as Jaguarkit stumbled into Dustkit.Lionclaw nodded to Vaporpaw and Darknight, his sister did the same." We are glad to have you in our clan." Leopardheart blinked at them in welcome.Lionclaw did the same.
ReplyDeleteDarknight dipped her head, "We feel welcomed." Vaporpaw nodded to them and looked around the camp where the cats where busily hunting and reading for leaf-bare. Dustkit stumbled, "Ah!" He tumbled and stopped when he hit a small pebble. "Hey!" he squeaked at Jaguarkit, "What was that for!"

Dustkit got up for the ladies, and puffed up his fur, "I am Dustkit. Future leader."

Jaguarkit puffed up his chest." It was by accident!" He peeped, fluffling up his little tail.Lionclaw chuckled and shook his head at hte playful kits.Leopardheart rolled her eyes playfully before giving her chest a tender lick.

owlpaw smiles."we have to get up early in the mornings for training and taking care of the elders apart from that it's pretty ok.everyone cares about you here."he mewed,his eyes shining.this was after all his home.
Dustkit glanced at Jaguarkit, "Yeah, sure." He said sarcastically.

owlpaw eyes sorrowed."not all cats do thougth some do.because the have lived so long in the service of there clan.we honor them as elders.
"Not before me!" Jaguarkit yowled lowly and playfulyl takcled Leopardkit.
ReplyDeleteVaporpaw looked down at her paws, "Wow. I never saw a cat grow old before. They usually die after they have kits because they get carless."
ReplyDeleteDustkit looked to the sky, "Yes. She did, she told me, 'Dustkit. For your bravery and awesomeness, you will be the next leader.'"
" That's not fair, I could become leader better than you." Jaguarkit bristled his tiny body.Leopardheart hissed softly at the kits." Trust me, you don't want to have the responsibility of havign the entire clan depend on you every waking moment.Assigning duties, and defending your clan against your rivals.Does fun to you, especially if you lose a life?" She raised and eyebrow.

owlpaw noded."here we have a medecine cat that knows herbs.the heal our wounds and make us better when were sick."he mewed.
" I want to go home." Jaguarkit mewed, glaring at Dustkit." I'm not welcomed here." The kit shrieked loudly and ran off into a pile of ferns.Lionclaw gave the kits a stern look, flicking his tail.Leopardheart sighed and padded after him." What have you guys been doing?" Lionclaw flicked his tail roughly agaisnt the ground.

owlpaw noded."my sister helead me and my brother when we were on our own she's the medecine cat."

ReplyDeleteVaporpaw nodded, "Life is hard on your own. I was alone because my family abondoned me."
Zebrastar sat at the base of the Africa Stone, watching the kits play and apprnetinces talk. She felt oddly detached, as if she was watcing some other clan. One would think I should be happy... She stared at the sky, forlorn.
ReplyDeleteSilverpaw layed at the entrace of her den and sighed. The other two apprentinces were talking readily, and she didnt think she would be able to get herself to talk to them.
Graypaw watched his sister for a minute, then looked around for his mentor.
Ivybloom watched the other kits from the entrance to the nursury, her own sleeping. She was glad they werent old enough to romp with the other kits, who seemed to be getting a bit too violent.
Leopardheart returned back into camp, her jaws locked around Jaguarkit's scruff." You know your a nice hider for a 2 and a half moon old kit..." She purred, but Jaguarkit said nothing, looking at her large paws then at his petite ones, missing how his mother had those same paws." Say let's bring you over to Ivybloom.." She mewed, spottign the queen sitting outside of the nursery entrance.Jaguarkit sighed solemly and closed his eyes.

ReplyDelete"Jaguarkit feels he doesnt belong here, the other kits are bigger than him and seem to dominate him more, he says.He hasnt been the same since..Since our mother died.>" She was forced to say.Jaguarkit looked away, tucking his head into his sister`s chest fur.
ReplyDeleteIvybloom nodded understandingly. "I know that felling." She said quietly. "Its not easy having a mate die before your kits are born." She paused. "And the bigger kits dominating him? IN just a few days, they'll be kits even small than you around." She gazed lovingly at her kits, sleeping in their nest. She smiled as she watched Badgerkit's paws twitch, no doubt he was dreaming of hunting or running already.

ReplyDeleteBadgerkit's eyes shot open, and he stumbled out of the nest, excited by Jaguarkits presence.
Echokit opened one eye, looking around.
Leopardheart nodded and stood at the nursery entrance, anxious to see how Jaguarkit would get along, helding her breathe.
ReplyDeleteJaguarkit glanced at the new kits, curiously, but shrinked back onto Ivybloom's paws, as Badgekit stumbled out of the nest.
Ivybloom whispered in Jaguarkit's ear, "Their only a few days old. I think you can take them on, if it comes to that. I dont predict them attacking though. Go and Have fun." she nudged him forward.
ReplyDeleteBadgerkit walked clumsily up to Jagaurkit, his eyes wide with fasination.
Echokit, seeing what was happening, climbed out of her nest, and seemed to be inspired. She run, stumbling only slightly on her paws, and barrled into Badgerkit.
Badgerkit mewled in protest, "No fair!"
Snowkit, woken by the noise, climbed up to Ivybloom. "WHo is this?" she asked her mother, her voice innocent.
"This is Jaguarkit." Ivybloom introduced.
Jaguarkit watched the new kits with gleaming eyes of hope.He looked at Leoaprdheart, who nodded before disappearing.*These kits seem excited..He thought* and he playfully mewed at them, shaking his tail a bit.
ReplyDeleteSnowkit smiled, her green eyes sparkilng with intrest. "Hi, Jaguarkit." she meowed.
ReplyDeleteBadgerkit and Echokit tumbled happily, batting at eachother with sheathed claws. Badgerkit came out on top. "HAH! I win!" he meowed with triumph.
Echokit protested, "No fair! Your bigger!" she reared up, but didnt go after him again.
"Hi." Jaguarkit waved his tail tip in greeting, looking up at Ivybloom and purring.He liked this kits better, maybe because he was around their age sorta, he guessed." What's your names?" He mewed, gazing at all three of them, his chest rumbling loudly with purrs.

ReplyDelete"Im Echokit." Echokit responded much calmer than her brother.
"And Im SNowkit." Snowkit's meow was the calmest of them all.
" Nice to meet you three." Jaguarkit squealed excitedly and squeated into a playful crouch, waving his tail in the air.
ReplyDeleteSnowkit smiled. "And we could say the same." She looked to her siblings, who nodded in agreement. She got into a playful crouch, facing Jaguarkit.
ReplyDeleteBadgerkit squealed and went back to wrestling with Echokit.
Jaguarkit prounced on Snowkit, playfully nipping her ears and rolling around on the ground."Gotcha!" He peeped.

Graypaw padded to the medicene den silently, waving his tail for her to fallow. "I know the herbs." he meowed quietly, it being a somewhat rare thing for him to speak at all.

Vaporpaw looked up to meet SIlverpaw.
ReplyDeleteSilverpaw stayed back for a moment, than padded forward to meet Vaporpaw. SHe felt a bit awkward.
ReplyDeleteJaguarkit rustled and tumbled around Snowkit, giggling." I'm going to get you sooner or later!" He mewed leaping onto her back but easily sliding off, as he landed onto his belly, knocking the breathe out of him.

ReplyDeleteLionclaw was sitting next to Vaporaw now, his green eyes closed absentmindedly before one of his ears flicked to Silverpaw's voice.He felt proud of having an apprentice but felt bad that his sister did not have one, at least before he did.
ReplyDeleteJaguarkit instantly leaped upwards, his paws cuffing around Snowkit's neck and pulling her down aswell." Gotcha!" He managed to huff, quickly recovering is fall.He pinned her down for a heartbeat before prancing away, with his tail high as if a baby rabbit.
Silverpaw smiled. "Nice to meet you." she meowed. Gosh, I hope she doesnt like Owlpaw.... What would I do if she did? I have to claims on him, but still....
ReplyDeleteIvybloom smiled at her kit before walking back out to the clearing, feeling confident leaving them alone. She could tell thay looked up to Jaguarkit.
Snowkit scampered after Jaguarkit. "Just wait till im bigger!" she meowed. "Then you'll be scared of fighting me!"
"We'll see in time." Jaguarkit mewed, scampering along the ground, awkwardly as if the breeze was sweeping him off his feet.He paused at the nursery entrance and stared around at camp, spotting his brother with the apprentices and his sister grabbing a piece of fresh-kill from the pile.
ReplyDeleteLionclaw finally opened his eyes and was staring down at the apprentices, then at Silverpaw" Greetings." He purred.
"Hello." Silverpaw meowed kindly. "Your Lionclaw, correct?"
ReplyDeleteSnowkit stood next to Jaguarkit. "Its amazing how big it is." she meowed. "And theres still the territory left to explore!"
Lionclaw stood up straightly, wrapping his long tail around his paws, then nodded, his gaze soft.
ReplyDelete"You bet!" Jaguarkit squealed excitedly, his paws already aching to stumbled around places, after all he was sleepign the whole time he and his kin came here, and was carried.So hadnt seen the outside of camp yet.
Ivybloom saw Jaguarkit and Snowkit. She padded over to them. "Exploring the territory is an adventure for another day. Maybe within the next moon, ill take all four of you kits out, and Ill give you a tour, okay?"

"Nice to meet you." Silverpaw was doing her best to stay calm, but and cat could see her eyes blazing with pent-up energy.
Vaporpaw nodded to Silverpaw and looked up at Lionclaw then back down at Owlpaw, "I wonder........" She looked over at Dustkit who was alone, pouting and she purred, "Dustkit, that crazy little fluffy tom!" Dustkit glared at Vaporpaw then stared at Jafuarkit and Snowkit.
ReplyDelete*Darknight scratched her ear and purred at Dustkit too, for she had fostered him as soon as he was 3 moons old,m around the time they eat prey, she learned he was very rambuntious and full of energy.
Jaguarkit smiled too.His back arching in excitement, his eyes gleaming as he stared past Ivybloom toward everyone else.His eyes melting in sympethy as he spotted Dustkit and following the chatter." Hey, Dustkit! Wanna join us in a fight?" jaguarkit asked, trying to be friendly and let the confrontation go.
